One of Universal's most stunning experiences
Terminator 2: 3-D is a fantastic experience. As far as 3-D shows go, it's easily the greatest. The mixture of live action and 3-D projections blend flawlessly. Being a big fan of the first two Terminator movies, I still find myself very impressed with this show.
Very cool graphics and watch young children
Another fond memory was the Terminator 3d show my daughter absolutely was scared to death she screamed bloody murder after the show she would not go to any other show or ride till I had to explain to her it was not that bad. She still does not want to go see the show because it killed her so bad!!
I can\'t wait to go back to see this. The graphics with the split screen and robots around the room give it a great touch. Orlando needs more shows like this!!
Fun for the wrong reasons
As we exited this attraction, I felt like the reason we enjoyed ourselves was probably not the intended reason...it was extremely outdated and cheesy. Picture a really bad movie that's so bad you find yourself laughing and poking fun and at the end saying, "that was really fun." That's how I'd describe it. The problem, I think, is the parks are spoiling guests with incredibly immersive experiences elsewhere and thus making this one feel like a relic. Still, I'm all for keeping it in the park, and actually would be very interested in what Universal could do with it, using the current bells and whistles they enjoy showing off on other attractions. Not a complete waste of time, but there are far better experiences in the park than this one.
Unfortunately, I have to say I think T2 3D is the worst attraction at Universal. It is an attraction which my family and I have bypassed the more recent times we have visited the park. I think that it either has to go, or be seriously updated and improved as it just does not compete with the other rides and experiences, exaggerating how much it lacks thrill, fun and spectacular. I think it's a pity that something with such potential leaves guests so bored, sorry!
T2 was just ok for me. My grandkids thought it was good and I enjoyed the concept but thought it was missing something. The 3D effects were really good but the live actors didn't seem to interesting. I'm hoping they will update the whole experience with better sound, effects and actors. It was good to get out of the hot sun for awhile and not too bad of a show.
Put T2 3-D: Battle Across Time on your must do list!!!
T2 3-D: Battle Across Time is one my favorite attractions at Universal. No trip is complete without a visit to this attraction!! This attraction is a must for anyone who loves the Terminator franchise. The queue features a few videos from the \"Cyberdyne Information Network\". The show is divided into two parts the pre-show which is non-3D live action and the main show which is a blend of 3D and live action. The pre-show is hosted by the quirky and over caffeinated \"Kimberley Duncan\", who is the Cyberdyne Systems Director of Community Relations and Media Control.
The main show is a mix of live action and 3D. The show has very high production values and it more a mini sequel to T2. after the show you are ushered through the gift shop that as a great selection of movie memorabilia.
Always thinking of the show
We make sure to watch this 4-D ahow everytime we go to Universal. We started going over 10 years ago and it seemed very futuristic. Now, it all seems to be more realistic. It's amazing how so much of it has come true. We love it and we use quotes from the ride OFTEN! Its a must do...plus its air conditioned! :-)
Terminator 2 3-D
I'm a big fan of Terminator 2 and I think that this attraction should stay and NOT be replaced! Arnold Schwarzenegger is supposed to star in another Terminator film inthe near future! This attraction at Universal Studios is my favorite of all!
This attraction is very cool and keeps you on the edge of your seat! The chairs are very comfortable and nice air conditioning! I would recommend this attraction to anyone!
Please keep this attraction at Universal Studios in Orlando!
Still Great Even With Two Newer Movies
As a true Terminator fan, this show doesn\'t disappoint. The story line and special effects are very true to the movies, and it\'s great to see it all close up.
Every time I visit Universal Studios my family and I will always see this show at least once. It is fun and entertaining, and it brings you into all the action and adventure of a Terminator movie.
To begin the show, you grab your 3D glasses and head on your way to tour the SkyNet facilities, but John Connor and his mom interfere and try to convince you to stop supporting them and take action. The show itself is great, and the actors go in and out of the screen to make it feel very realistic. They run in and out of the aisles and even bring Arnold Schwarzenegger\'s motorcycle into the scene.
We have found that one of the best places to sit is actually in the non-motion seats towards the back that are right in front of the larger aisle. This place is great to sit in because during the show, the actors will run right in front of you!
All together Terminator 2: 3-D is a show that anyone can watch even if you haven\'t seen the movies. If you have seen the movies however, it adds an inclusive factor to make you feel like a part of the movies.
It\'s a fun show that is always fun to watch and it\'s also a great place to cool of on a hot day and sit down in the air-conditioned theater.
