Rock the Universe 2014

Rock The Universe.

Two nights, o15 bands, one powerful experience — on September 5 and 6, 2014, the most exciting bands in Christian rock will come together for Rock the Universe 2014 at Universal Orlando, Florida’s biggest Christian music festival!

Rock the Universe 2014 Lineup

Saturday, September 6 , 4:00pm – 1:00am

(When we get within a week of the event, Universal should publish a full schedule of activities, bands, and an event map, which we will include right here once it is available.)

There’s also plenty of praise to go with this party, including a moving Candlelighting Ceremony on Saturday and an emotional Sunday Morning Worship Service.

For an interesting take on a tour of the event, here is Jeremy Camp’s video blog from a few years ago, followed by a fan video of Switchfoot playing at the Universal Music Plaza (USF’s largest stage) from last year:

Attractions & other entertainment

Along with the sensational concerts, Rock the Universe guests will enjoy the thrilling attractions only found at Universal Studios Florida. You can rock out to more hit songs at 65 mph on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, laugh along with America’s favorite animated family on The Simpsons Ride, speed through the darkness on the world’s first psychological thrill ride – Revenge of the Mummy – and defend the galaxy in MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack. And, for one of the biggest thrills of all, guests will battle alongside Optimus Prime in Transformers: The Ride.

Please note that Diagon Alley and is signature attraction, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, will not be open during the Rock the Universe event. However, it will be open as part of USF’s regular daytime operations.

Guests can also enjoy the exciting Fan Zone presented by Coca-Cola, including live music by up-and-coming acts:

Autograph sessions with the bands, karaoke, and band merchandise are also available in the Fan Zone.

Sunday Morning Worship

Celebrate a weekend of music, fellowship, and ministry at this non-denominational worship service located at the Fear Factor Live stage inside Universal Studios Florida. Services will be held Sunday, September 7, at 8:30am, 9:45am & 10:45am.

Admission is FREE with any Rock the Universe ticket, but due to this event’s high popularity, reservations are required.
