Wolfgang Puck invites you to dine in style at Downtown Disney’s West Side.
Located right across from the AMC movie theater in Downtown Disney–Walt Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district–Wolfgang Puck serves up new American cuisine with a flair for originality.
The Downtown Disney West Side venue is actually two restaurants in one: quick-service on the left and full-service on the right. I recently had the opportunity to stop by and see what all the fun was about.
The vibrant and energetic atmosphere is carried throughout the restaurant, indoors and outdoors. The menu features Wolfgang Puck classics from sushi and seafood to sandwiches and his famous wood fired pizzas.
The two sides of the restaurant, quick-service and full-service, share many of the same flavors and menu items:
On my most recent visit I was on the go, so I swung in for the short stop at the quick-service “Express” side of the restaurant. As I usually do, I asked for the best thing on the menu, and I was directed to the Wood Fire BBQ Chicken Pizza. I was perfectly content with that selection, so I agreed.
After I ordered my pizza I took a seat outside with my number and enjoyed the people-watching until my food arrived. Here’s my pizza:
It was delicious. And it was big enough to serve two people, unless one of you is extremely hungry.
The pizza with a bottle of water came to $17. This is high for quick-service certainly, but I would consider this a step up from your typical quick-service fare, and remember that the pizza I got really was big enough for two people to share. If you do this, then the price is less than $10 per person.
I certainly recommend coming here. If you choose the full dining experience, it is worth noting that Wolfgang Puck’s has a sushi bar too!
By the way, it would seem that this restaurant refers to itself both as Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and simply Wolfgang Puck Cafe. Don’t be confused by this–it’s the same restaurant. And keep in mind that there’s a second Wolfgang Puck Express over in the Downtown Disney’s Marketplace.
